Cambridge University Computer Science graduate,
freelance designer & developer, and filmmaker.
My name is Jake Wright.
I am 24 years old and I recently graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge
with a 2.1 in Computer Science. I design and create beautiful and functional solutions. I also make films.
In 2006, I learnt how to program in C# and decided that Computer Science was the subject I wanted to study at university. I spent the next few years learning new skills and gaining as much experience as I could. I became proficient in PHP, worked on a variety of projects and worked as a software developer for Aspire Technology Solutions.
In sixth form, I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computing, Religious Studies, and Critical Thinking. The hard work paid off when I was invited for an interview at Cambridge and subsequently given an offer to study Computer Science at Queens' College.

I made weekly vlogs throughout my time as a student and graduated in 2015 with a II.i. The course was very theoretical and has given me invaluable knowledge of the principles of Computer Science as well as the practical skills needed to solve problems. I am now living in London and working as a software developer for graze.
Uni Results: Class 2, division 1
I am available to work part-time on small web design, software development, and video projects on a freelance basis. Please find examples of my work on the projects page, including Localgag—a location-based social network that I developed alongside two other Cambridge graduates.
